2000 turbo charged suzuki hayabusa. 418 hp in a 500lb chassis. has an endless list of mods....
In my experience as a professional motorcycle drag racer, I can't imagine that thing being rideable on the street. And even if it was, 250 of that horsepower is simply wasted. Awesome excess!

I have a 140hp street bike, and I rarely ever open the throttle past 1/3. There's no point.

Have you ever had it on the track? What's it run? 5s? 6s?

I quit driving cars out of economic and health reasons (why own a car when you rarely go further than 4mi from home?)....so here are my two bikes, one for pave, one for dirt :)

(well, the manufacturer's pages...I can't find my camera!)

dirt:

pave:
http://www.alibaba.com/catalog/10370136/New_Road_Racing_Bike.html
(note I am NOT involved with this guy's sale....I just can't find any pics of the "flat finish" frame I have anywhere else....moto went to gloss black for the new ones...ARGH!)

Well my motobecane is a 2001 model, highly customized for heavier riders (I weighed 235 when I started my frame-up build on it). So far my flatland top speed on it is about 35mph for a half mile on 46-18 gearing (My knees suck too much to use the 53 :( )...not bad for a fat guy :D

Agreed, my bike is plenty. Read back to page one to see what I ride.

OK, here's my first try ay attaching a photo to a post-let's see if it worked out...

I've got a 12 year old pickup for fishing and whatnot, but my *ride* is a CBR1100XX. She's pretty much stock, except for the Powercommander, K&N filter, a Penske rear shock and the front forks have Ohlins springs and Racetech valves in them now. I picked her up new Thanksgiving weekend 2001 and between travel for work and snow (I'm in Denver) I only manage to get about 6500 miles a year on her. Every once in a while I get the itch for OZ wheels or a full MIcron exhaust, but then I come to my senses.

Bryan...now if I could get a RC211V...

Superman,
That's not a car it's a rolling bulldozer. I gave up the Lexus 430 to ride in my dependable 92' dodge pickup w/212000 miles with a 318 motor. Funny, it just doesnt feel the same.

I must be doing something right. I am 57 and my riding around gear on my old Trek Columbus SL frame is 53-17 at 75 RPM. I rerely use any other gear unless I'm climbing the wall (Manayunk wall). See the US Pro championships for information about the wall. I ride when the temperature is above 40F.

No pic yet...

I've got a 2004 Nissan Armada that has a "so-so" Bose, allegedly 240 watt, 10 speakers system in it. I must admit it sounds decent for OEM, especially considering it from the Bozo's at Bose.

Unfortunetely upgrading it is damn near impossible without ripping out every electronic component in the entire truck.

I was able to customize the sound system on my 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee exactly the way I wanted. Several amps, MD head unit with changer, extra
speakers in the back. Not the one though...it would be an installers nightmare...then ultimately mine!

Is it just my sick mind or does the silhouette of the photo brian32672 posted look worryingly phallic?

Oh, yeah, the topic - 2000 Honda Accord, bombproof reliability, duller than a room full of politicians.

Cool, a car thread (my first love)!

Mine's a 95 Probe GT (leave off the stupid jokes, dumb name but what can you do?). Mostly suspension mods. 131k on the clock, raced frequently & runs like new.
