They are in their original boxes so i couldn't inspect yet for physical condition, but will if it is worth buying. I'm weary of Open Box models from BB but at $249 this seems like a bit of a steal. I'm thinking of replacing my older Onkyo TX-SR505 AVR soon with something that has more up to date features Onkyo USA | TX-SR505 Any opinions for this specific Pioneer model? Also, it would be driving 6 ohm Mirage OMD-5's and OMD C1 for front and center, and Mirage Nanosats (rears) in a approx. 10'x 12' room. Thanks

Also find out the warranty that comes with it. You can also do a extended warranty and they give you 30 days to do it if you like it. Let us know how it goes Last edited: Dec 2, 2013

Click to expand... Thanks. You're definitely right about the added features and just a bit more power but that could be debatable. I'm not sure about the EQ though, yes the Audyssey 2EQ is old now but also the PIO uses the basic version of it's MCACC, which only has 5 bands.
