That's the problem. Not registered in British civil courts means they are not really married and may create other issues too.

OK, so what is the point of requiring marriages to be registered through a government agency and why does the government want records of marriages? Why can't people who observe other religions, or not, bypass this? How and why can they marry without registering?

How can two sets of laws work in a free country that makes its own laws and says it operates by the rule of law? Is it OK for someone to advertise real estate sales/rentals, jobs and retail or wholesale sales only for Muslims or don't equal opportunities exist, anymore?

I would suspect that in the eyes of the law, such relationships are considered common law or civil unions. So, when such a marriage is formed within the Islamic faith, a divorce would have to be pursued within the faith, as well.

Oh absolutely, in such an arrangement you are effectively co-habiting which is English and Welsh law is a much less robust for of union than a formally recognized marriage.

When I married my wife, it wasn't an act of love. We already had that. It was to ensure that she and our kids were fully protected by all the legal shields that are available.

But we digress. Sharia law, in the main is about resolving issues. And sometimes that resolution is preferable, but not subordinate to the laws of the land.

You forgot tax-free status. Goes for all churches, not just the Catholic churches (there are several different ones last I checked). Drumphy and slimo Vance participate in hate speech all the time otoh.

And they have probably saved hundreds of billions of dollars because of that. If they really help communities, I wouldn't mind if they paid at a discount, but there are more homeless and destitute people than ever although the taxes paid vs amount available to use as aid are obviously linked.

What race? Iranians aren't a race, that's a country with many races and ethnicities. Is hating Muslims racist? No, of course not- it's not a race. Islam is an ideology/religion- anyone can join.

I do think that using 'Islamists' would be better than 'Muslims' when discussing the violence & terrorism, though.
