Well. the pope did say that Christians and Muslims can live together in peace and that people should be less fearful of Muslims- most may be peaceful, but if he can see a reason for Iran killing >40,000 protesters in only a few months, I have to say that he's wrong. CAN live together? Maybe, but forcing people to comply to the religious rules in so many ways under penalty of violence and death is wrong, regardless of the religious ideology. Islam has more than 150 sects, Christianity has many, too- I don't know of any Christian, Jewish, Buddhist or other religions that still kill people who are "outside of the flock". Originally, Muslims didn't just kill all Christians and Jews because they were considered 'people of the book".

The Carney government has already made concessions in order to signal good faith willingness to negotiate - dropping the digital services tax and some retaliatory tariffs on imports from the US. And, Canada-U.S. Trade Minister Dominic LeBlanc has indicated that we aren't going to make more concessions, considering the previous ones have not been of any benefit.

They have no statutory authority and cannot overrule UK law or court decisions.
Some background reading suggest that majority of users (over 90%) are women seeking an Islamic divorce (khula), as marriages often are not registered with civil authorities.

OK, so what is the point of requiring marriages to be registered through a government agency and why does the government want records of marriages? Why can't people who observe other religions, or not, bypass this? How and why can they marry without registering?

How can two sets of laws work in a free country that makes its own laws and says it operates by the rule of law? Is it OK for someone to advertise real estate sales/rentals, jobs and retail or wholesale sales only for Muslims or don't equal opportunities exist, anymore?
