Haven't watched it yet but no surprise. I assume whatever they accuse the left of they will be doing. I can't even really listen to them anymore.

I think the country is now, more aware of having Proper ID to Vote. I am registered in WI., for Mail-in voting, for local and State voting. Did you see the lines in TX., and then mix up in one city. Wait till a Democrat President comes in.... For starters, Democrats take over House and Senate. Long story SHORT!

Noem stated she doesn't regret calling Good and Pretti "domestic terrorists" because the information she got on them said they were. :D
I would not have been surprised if: 1) her face had melted and fallen off, or 2) her lips had exploded, or 3) some combination of 1 and 2.

But Trump firing her did surprise me.

This chapter of the sh*t show has apparently drawn to a close.

>>>Lindsey Halligan, a Trump-appointed federal attorney who led the failed prosecutions of two of the president’s political opponents, has left her position at the US justice department, attorney general Pam Bondi said on Tuesday. . . .
Ladies and gentlemen, the next chapter of the Halligan sh*t show has now begun:

>>>Lindsey Halligan, the former U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia who brought criminal cases against President Trump’s enemies over the objections of career prosecutors, is under investigation by Florida’s bar association . . . . An investigation by Florida’s bar association could lead to disbarment, but the process is rigorous and often takes years. . . .

Still, the prospect of Ms. Halligan losing her license could serve as a check on administration lawyers who have been accused by judges of pushing the boundaries of the law or intentionally misleading the courts, which has happened frequently in recent months. It could also deter attorneys considering working for the Justice Department, which is eagerly looking to hire to replace the many employees who quit or were fired last year.<<<

As a practical matter, lawyers are typically not disbarred unless they steal from their own clients or completely fail to take even minimal steps to protect their clients.

On the other hand, it's not unnusual for lawyers to be hit with disciplinary actions short of being disbarred, and this is typically a huge hit on the lawyer's professional reputation and career prospects.

I read a post yesterday (can't find it now) stating, "Replacing Noem with Markwayne Mullin is like $hitting your pants, then going home to change your shirt."

We can all rejoice! Cuba's next... Whatever happened with Venezuela? I guess the president they brought back from there is sitting under a jail somewhere until they figure out what to do with him. Wasn't trump bragging about everyone's 401k doing so great? Which one of his lackey's said the Dow hit $50,000? Wasn't that Pam Bondi? 401k not looking great these days...

How about the chick he just sacked this week, who had a bed in the back of her private jet, so deportees could be comfortable on thier way out. lol. I thought Iran's nuclear capability was "obliterated" by HIS "big beautiful B2 bombers" 6 months ago. He seems slightly deranged to me.... How many more years with this guy?

The economic impact of closing the straits of Hormuz could be quite dramatic... and become ever more likely the longer the war lasts.

Iran has plenty of drones with which to threaten merchant ships - and fantasy promises of US funded insurance isn't going to convince the ships to take the risk.

Iran doesn't have to win... just survival - as long as it survives, the straits remain closed - and the pressure from a multitude of nations impacted economically by the closure of the straits will build.

Trumps war may trigger a recession or even a full blown globale depression.... which would completely wreck the vast majority of 401k's.

Completely agree with what you say. Captain choas may have finally done it this time. War, retubution on his enemies, becaus he has the mind of a child. He use tariffs to extort countries.

What do I know, but really don't think Iran was about to attack us. I call bull!@## on that. Him and his lapdog rubio.. It's just horrible, I just think about all the poor civilains in the middle east that are just trying to live there lives. And all they know is fear, war and choas. Trump should go to jail, but unfortunately he won't.

It's insane. trump can't even state specfic objectives for this crazy war to end.
He is a narcissist.... all he seeks is his own ego boosting "win".

When he perceives the situation as a "win" he will call a halt.

So we will get an even more exaggerated propaganda war than usual, because perception is not just A driver, but THE primary driver.

I have probably stated this before, but Biden, on his worst days of cognitive decline, couldn't possibly have assembled a worse collection of incompetents. Trump's "talent" for picking the least qualified people for his administration is beyond compare.

There were so many legal avenues to hold Trump accountable for his misdeeds prior to the last election, that America - and the world - could have been spared the chaos of his second term. Yet, so many commentators (including some on this forum) said, "No, the American people should determine his fate at the ballot box". Of course, that failed, as well.

In a few months, Americans will have another opportunity to clip his wings at the ballot box - if WW3 hasn't started by then. The question remains - will they finally seize that opportunity?
