Reminds me the time MTG hit the hammer and said I think we need "decorum" at the House and many Democrats LOL. The hypocrisy is off the charts.

Bessent is the best. They're bringing cattle across the border now LOL.

>>>Bessent went on to make the claim, without evidence, that migrants were bringing diseased cattle with them across the border, and that was somehow contributing to the rising cost of beef.

"And there's also, because of the mass immigration, a disease that had been — we've been rid of in North America made its way up through South America, you know, as these migrants brought some of their cattle with them," Bessent said.

"So part of the problem is we've had to shut down, to close, to shutter, etc., the border to Mexican beef because of this disease called the screw worm. So we're not going to let that get into our supply chain. And, again, I don't want to focus on one product. It's a very important product. And if we are laser-focused on this product," he continued.

Bessent quickly pivoted the conversation to discuss inflation, but many on social media, reasonably, have some questions about the claim that migrants somehow transport cattle across the southern border.<<<

As far as I can tell, Bessent is probably the smartest and most capable member of Trump's cabinet, but he feels compelled to say stupid stuff to keep his boss happy.

An that's my huge opinion.

I tend to think that permeates through the administration.

Though I'm suspicious of MTG's intentions. I'll take it, but if feels like she's jumping on the right side to avoid the downfall. Some of the peeps out there are simply ignoramuses. One guy said Trump made the right move cause the files will reveal nothing against him. That's funny cause the video clip I saw had him scolding one as "a terrible reporter" for asking the question. Plus Trump vetoed the bill 10 times during his first term. The Trump retardation effect on display LOL. "This isn't about Democrats vs Trump." Yeah right Schumer LOL. I know it is, and it benefits you because it hurts you the least. I agree with the bill, but no he's not telling the truth.

But for Trump's pardon, the victims would not have lost their money. I do not understand Trump's "soft on white collar crime" approach. Stand in front of a big box store looking for work and ICE will throw you on the ground and expend absurd amount of taxpayers' money to deport you. Defraud people? No problemo, one presidential pardon coming up!

>>>A New Jersey fraudster who was pardoned by President Trump in 2021 was sentenced to 37 years in prison this month for running a $44 million Ponzi scheme, one of a growing number of people granted clemency by Mr. Trump only to be charged with new crimes. . .

Mr. Weinstein’s victims included a single mother of three who was compelled to sell her home after failing to receive the returns she had expected. Calling Mr. Weinstein a “predator,” Judge Shipp concluded that, as the ringleader of the scheme, he deserved “the harshest punishment.” . . .

Mr. Weinstein, who referred to himself in a recording played at the trial as “the Ponzi guy,” is one of a number of those Mr. Trump has pardoned who have gone on to face new criminal charges — often shortly after receiving presidential relief. <<<

if you are referring to Mary Bruce of ABC News, she hit a nerve with Trump, good !
Most mainstream media do not even ask anything remotely controversial tho. He should be roasted at every one of his "PR" events. The one with the killer sheikh was pretty bad.
