This does not bode well.

>>>WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump administration has fired about 17 independent inspectors general at government agencies, a sweeping action to remove oversight of his new administration that some members of Congress are suggesting violated federal oversight laws. . . .

[T]he 30 day detailed notice of removal that the law demands was not provided to Congress,” said Grassley, R-Iowa. . . . Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., acknowledged that the firings violated statutes but shrugged it off: “Just tell them you need to follow the law next time,” he said. . . . The Washington Post, which first reported the firings, said that many were appointees from Trump’s first term. <<<

Seriously, I have no life.
If someone has androgen insensitivity syndrome, they’re genetically male, but develop female. Does one go with appearance or with genetics to make a determination? The question of male/female can't be explained using two sentences.
What do you want a country of more than 335 million to do for them?

Well, I was really responding to your post "They could have mentioned XX and XY chromosomes, but I'm not sure enough of the population would have understood. "
If they don't understand the basic one, how would they understand the others mentioned.
And, perhaps some trans people have them?
The issue isn't 'trans=bad', it's mainly about allowing biological males into girl's restrooms, competing against them in sports, etc. Lopping off body parts and adding others doesn't make someone a female unless their chromosomes show that they are. Males have several physical advantages in some athletic events and anyone who denies that is using their feelings to much. As a parent, would you want a daughter to be in the same restroom as a male? Do you want her to compete against her peers, or someone who can mop the floor with her because of biological advantages? Even after hormone therapy, many differences remain WRT physical competition.

Do you remember the answers that were required on applications? Name, address, SEX, personal/job-related info.....not gender. The definitions have been changed. SInce so many don't learn about these variations, if someone doesn't know about it and live a normal life, how do you want them to answer that question and how should everyone else address them?

give this a read

The fact that the AP published that trash is why they’re also asking for donations to keep the doors open. It calls into question some details thinking debunking parts of a story is more important than asking where hundreds of thousands of unaccompanied children went. It’s like worrying about spelling on a police report about a murder without asking about the murder itself. Gross

One can always tell a Trump supporter. You just can't tell them anything.

When the story doesn't fit the narrative, start by attacking the credibility of the news organization. Next, engage in whataboutism.

Well, sex is defined by chromosomes as well. And, to many, yes, trans does equal bad.

If one wants fairness in sports, then you get an agreement what is allowed and what is not, not define everyone as XX or XY, male or female by sex organs.

How many excutive orders has the first elected dictator of the US signed so far? Its interesting and sad at the same time see how intolorant Trump is. First target of his is relatively easy to bully, the greater transgender community. I wonder how long it will take him to target all Democrats.

When you want to make a point to suit you/them, you distort everything until you called on the carpet. ;) They are experts at this charade.
What the F are you talking about. I was not making any point, just showing the mixed up news we have.

What is interesting is that some time back he criticized Biden for running the country by executive orders. Now he is doing it even more.

Eric Trump one month ago:

>>>“So the house is going to vote to protect itself from glaring and obvious wrongdoing? The American people didn’t vote for this. They voted for the opposite. They voted for transparency. This cannot pass,” Donald Trump Jr. said on the social platform X.<<<(emphasis added)

Trump just fired about 17 inspectors general on a Friday night. Trying to slip something past the media by doing it on a Friday night is an old inside the beltway trick. However, Trump took the Friday night trick a step further by sending the emails without even making the terminations public:, let alone informing congress or providing a reason as required by law:

>>>The Trump administration has fired about 17 independent inspectors general at government agencies, a sweeping action to remove oversight of his new administration that some members of Congress are suggesting violated federal oversight laws. . . .

The dismissals began Friday night and were effective immediately, according to two people familiar with the actions. They spoke on condition of anonymity to provide details that have not been made public. Neither confirmed the exact number of firings, but an email sent by one of the fired inspectors general said "roughly 17" inspectors general had been removed. . . . The role of the modern-day inspector general dates to post-Watergate Washington, when Congress installed offices inside agencies as an independent check against mismanagement and abuse of power. <<<

So, Eric, did the people vote for transparency, or did they vote for chicken sh*t midnight emails that unlawfully terminated the watchdogs who prevent the "glaring an obvious wrongdoing" you profess to be so concerned about?

Ok, so we will ignore 100,000 to possibility 200,000 trafficked children so that you can be right on a minor technicality? This is why the left lost the last election. People are disgusted with arguing over details and they want results. You seriously disgust me and millions of Americans, you want to grandstand over minor details while the world burns and in some sick way you think you hold some moral high ground. We are beyond sick of these political games and WE want results. Children matter but you think winning an argument by discussing minor insignificant facts somehow justifies your position. You and those who think like you are vile. Absolutely disgusting

They voted for transparency against their opponent but not themselves. Neither of them really believes in it. My two cents.

Who says they're being ignored? And, what evidence can you point to indicating that these children are being "trafficked"?
