I would place the display on the back, short wall and move the furniture to suit the viewing angle, further out in the open. A good rule of thumb is about 2/3 back from the display. Sitting against a wall should be avoided. I really like the kitchen area and I am also a big fan of salt and fresh water aquariums. Keep up the good work and keep us posted on your progress.

This is not Underwater Audioholics.......
