Thanks Harald! Yes the crossover is pretty smooth. I am crossing over at 60 Hz (sub set at 80 Hz). Running test tones only shows a 1 dB dip at about 59 Hz. It's quite flat from 95 Hz down to 45 Hz or so. Then I have some room gain kicking in at 30- 40 Hz (PEQ helps tame that). Getting response down to about 13 Hz in 20 Hz tune.

I've got to say I'm literally drooling at the moment - the dual Ultra's are something out of this world - congrats on a very clean, powerful yet elegant looking setup. Did you experiment with placing the Ultra's in opposing corners before stacking them to help even out the room's bass response?

Thanks Halon451! Stacking them was the original plan, and I'll most likely stick to it. I really like the sound and imapct with this location. I don't have much additional room to experiment with. I like the tower effect.

With this positioning, are you in any way able to localize the sub's, or do they really fit in very very nicely.... You have quite low X-over, so hopefully this works beautifully

Which configuration are you using for the sub's looks like all ports are open?

Yes, be sure to position them in such a way that they oppose the energy fields by the cern particle accellerators, or you may interfere with the earth rotation

Funny you should say that! I was watching Iron Man, and the missle scene just after Iron Man goes supersonic (ch 10) had one heck of a pressure wave as the blast moved across the screen.
