Price, looks, overall good reviews, uhhm, yea idk. Price, really. There aren't a ton of sub $200 turntables that don't look like the first ones ever made [in a bad way]. But maybe I didn't look hard enough. I can tell you, though, my dad has an old, fairly nice Technics turntable, and this one sounds better. I think its biggest flaw for it's price range is the length of the tonearm. It's "too short". You can decide how big of a deal that. is ;p Oh, it also doesn't auto-reject, and you have drop it manually; there's not a vertical control lever. "DJ features" I guess.
ps: I do scratch for fun, I didn't buy it totally for audiophile purposes.
