With tweeters the big issue is room humidity. See the diaphragm becomes soggy, water logged, and too heavy, hence sluggish to respond to quick transients when the room is too moist. My guy conveniently sold me a solution for that too!

They provide voltage stabilization, surge protection and clean power to my electronics.
How much good surge protection do they provide? Voltage stabilization isn't necessary, and power is "clean" enough already unless you live in a really 3rd world place perhaps...

Seriously, I have no life.
What you have is useless and fools gold. This is how you protect your equipment properly.

Get rid of the piece of junk you are using now.

1). Get your home up to current NEC code. That means an SPD-1 surge protector at electrical entry to your home and an SPD-2 surge protector at every electrical panel. Most homes just have one.

2). An uninterruptible power supply. This is surge protection at your equipment that shaves and boost over or under voltage and switches to battery for severe alteration in supply and gives a smooth shut down when the battery runs out. APC are the leaders in this. Monster Junk contributes zero to proper protection.

Do it right or not at all. I have told you how to do it right.
You know APC has been sold, right? I had installed one of their devices and when it died from a lightning strike (house has a Cutler-Hammer suppressor at the panel), they sent a UPS rated for far less than the 1500 J of the original.
