What are you talking about? I just added 70 or so posts in the last week...

Before that I was a little off. Nothing was really catching my eye.

BTW, the RDH (ranch dressing hose) is from Simpsons. I can't find the clip on youtube, but it was him and flanders trapped in a car. He starts dozing off from the fumes, and thinks of a ranch dressing hose.

That's not a bad idea at all. One of the Mod's made a remark before about it being one of the biggest generators of complaints. Like I said before, It is a well intended tool, but in all reality fairly useless...

...unless controlled by the mod's.

My fields were a verdant green until some b@!!-less (i.e. anonymous) troglodyte decided I was "rude and persistent"...Apparently if you question the statements made by some folks (which seem to fly in the face of common sense), they tend to just get b!tchy...When challenged to somehow prove me wrong or even mistaken in my opinion (yes, opinion), there was no factual rebuttal, just some cherries jubilee...

Apparently my red badge of courage indicates that I have shown some "...shameless behavior in the past..." and how pantywaisted is that?

What about trolls, they can hurt us too. Some troll comes on hear and starts a thread about how much is wrong with Yamaha and how awesome Bose is. We see through it, make some posts pretty much telling them to go away, and then they could give use negative reps.

What about a burowing trolls, you know, the ones that make legitimate posts for some time, then they just go nuts and start making outrageous claims like Martin Logan sucks?

you can get a anti-trollitis patch from the Mayo Clinic.
though the active ingredient (Xipolatophin) may cause scurvy.

Ah, but what if it was planned. Trolls have done this before. They come into a forum and ask legitimate questions, make noteworthy posts and all with the intent of wrecking it all down the line. It isn't like the have some kind of mental breakdown, they are just well.....burrowing trolls.

I remember reading an article by an undisclosed troll, telling about how far they will go to make you believe they are worth listening to, then they pounce. The ones you see here that make one or two troll posts are probably just bored, probably not even affiliated with nameless garbage that trolls post about.

Hi all,

I've got a question. When I click on the "first post" of this thread i get a message that says "your ip address has been banned" YIKES. I can go to other threads no problem - or jump in later at this thread without problem. I've seen this on a couple of other posts here too lately. To the best of my knowledge I haven't been in trouble here.... I've only seen this on a few different threads, everything else works fine. Any thoughts?

As far as the reputation points are concerned- i'd agree that those who want to leave negative reputation points should not be annonymous.
