Klipsch promedia left channel won’t work??

Give it a while after unplugging it before you start poking around in the amp, let the capacitors discharge....

I don’t take stuff apart right after unplugging.
Thanks for advice !!! I’ll see maybe I can fix it easily maybe not .
Can always find a new set used cheap if I wait long enough in way better shape .
Wish there were inputs so I could use this sub with a normal receiver it as little beast !!

Opened up the control unit and I cannot figure out the next step on taking It apart .

Are there not screws holding the board down in the holes in the four corners?

I removed the screws to look at it so you see anything wrong. Yeah maybe the problems in the subwoofer plate amp or the break that was repaired in the auxiliary cable ?

Nothing that I see but I'm not trained for such either. Might need test gear. Not really worth it IMO.

Yeah but there pretty expensive for pc speakers . Sure built like garbage [emoji1005] though how can a whole channel just die ?
The powered sub is really nIce any way of modifying it to be used in a bass channel?

I did that because no sound was coming from left speaker when it was plugged into as klipsch don’t take much power to drive . I could take it apart and see why that left speaker output isn’t working why not ? Right

NOTHING looks loose inside the fault must be my rewiring of auxiliary cable [emoji23] I don’t have a soldering iron if that’s what you need for small little wires [emoji3062][emoji3159][emoji3475]

Now THAT is worth spending 10 bucks on. Try a pawn shop or garage sale and get a soldering iron. I used to build underwater cameras and that’s when I learned how to solder. Since then I’ve fixed countless toys and electronic things.

Good idea I’ll post pics of the three or so cables when I take this aux cord apart just too see how it needs to be wired . I apparently only got the right channel working .
But it probably won’t work til I learn to solder it.
Our old cats [emoji192] last act before it died of old age was to leap off my laptop break it and my auxiliary cable for this pro-media both at once . Busy kitty [emoji192] loved breaking stuff !!
