Swerd Audioholic Warlord Sep 3, 2004 9,610 0 113 Jul 22, 2013 #28 I just got home from my day of jury duty. No trial for me! In the morning, I was sent to a court room as a prospective juror for a criminal case for drug possession. There were about 45 people in the juror pool for this trial. Although many others had some thing to say as answers to the judge's questions during the selection process, the jury of 12 was selected before they got to me (#40). The unselected prospective jurors were sent back to the jury lounge (yes, they called it a lounge ), where we waited until about 2 pm. Then they started calling numbers of people who were done for the day. I got $15 for my efforts.

The case I was in with there were well over 200 people just the first day. They didn't eliminate me until the second day and also didn't pay me for that day.

I opted to park in a garage across the street from the courthouse at a cost of $20.
