How can I listen to my TV speakers and bluetooth together?

My father is buying a new Philips TV, model PUL7975/F7. He would like to have a single bluetooth speaker close to his chair, as he is hard of hearing. Can he listen to the TV speakers and the bluetooth speaker at the same time. He doeasnt want a soundbar and he doesn't want to turn the TV volume up and bother other in the room.

You can try, but I bet there will be insurmountable latency issues between the TV and the Bluetooth speakers.

I took a look at a manual, it doesn't appear to have inherent bluetooth capability except via a Roku app:

"Mobile Private Listening on the Roku mobile app lets you listen to streaming
programs and "over-the-air" TV programs from the Live TV input on wired or
Bluetooth headphones (not provided) connected to your IOS® or Android™ mobile
device."
