FS: Outlaw Audio LFM-1 EX Subwoofer

For sale is an Outlaw Audio LFM-1 EX subwoofer. Overall it is in good condition with minor, normal wear and tear that goes along with a glossy top and a few minor scratches and nicks. There is, however, one large ding in one of the bottom corners that exposed the MDF. I bought this used and this was an accident during shipping. It is totally cosmetic and the sub is in excellent functional condition with zero issues.

Unfortunately the boxes were pretty much destroyed during shipping to me so this is local pickup only from 12477. Depending on how far away you happen to be, I may be willing to drive to meet within a reasonable distance or for a little gas money for a slightly unreasonable distance.

Fuzz, I'm sure you would sell this much faster if you shipped it, did you try craigslist? That's a good price... You can drop it off at UPS with no box and they will package it and ship it for the buyer...

Thanks for the suggestion. At this point I'd rather not ship it, just because it already got damaged after being shipped once, so I'm trying to avoid any more dings or UPS claims. I'll probably end up putting it up on CL as well. No rush at this point since I'll use it until it (hopefully) sells

At this point, I'd rather wait to see if someone wants to pick it up or at least meet in the town I live in. I appreciate the interest though.

The damage isn't as bad as I remember it being, but I'll let all you out there be the judge.









This is where the damage is most visible from a normal sub positioning. I don't think you can even really see it. It's most obvious when flipped.



As you look at the sub from this position the damage is in the top right corner

My thoughts precisely. The real issue is I completely forgot that is down-firing and it's the show stopper for me as I still live in apartment ... Too bad really - it's a great deal...

Down-firing won't make the slightest bit of difference to your neighbors below you or in any other direction. If you really want to be a considerate neighbor, just skip the sub entirely.

Yeah, I don't think it would matter if it was downfiring or not. You could always turn it on it's side and have the driver and ports facing out if you wanted to (I did that for awhile). I'd also get a nice black sharpie and color in the damage

well, I did it for a long while, but then I got Matt's sub - I saw what I was missing all these years... Running my TST2 towers crossed at 80hz made a world of difference improving their sound

I might still have a picture of it sitting like that. It does look a little goofy because the cables and everything are coming out of the top (or side, if you lay it sideways). You could always get 90 degree connectors if it bothered you, but it didn't matter to me that much. Can't see the cables when the lights are out
