1: Banana Plugs work best for me on REC end and either same or spade conns for SPK.

2: Black, Grey or White. Depends on how/where it is run. If along floorboards then white, otherwise black or grey ussually blends well.

3: I definately prefer a flexible cable and one that does not drag on a carpet or gather dust & hair (like a sticky silicone substance). Have had nice fabric/mesh that worked well.

Just my 2¢

1. I prefer Banana Plugs to connect my speakers to my receiver.

2. I don't really prefer a certain color, as long as the jacket is not too bold I'm happy. Hot red and super silver cables are too much.

3. The material much hold up to my cat who sometimes tries to nibble on the cables.

1. Bananas or spades

2. color is not important, as long as it's not flourescent.

1. What types of connectors do you prefer for speaker cables?

I prefer locking banana plugs. They make a nice snug connection that prevents them from popping out easily.

2. Is color important of the jacket important to you? What color do you prefer?

Color isn't too important, but I do prefer something that blends in, like black or grey.

3. Is speaker cable jacket material important? Is a certain type of look and feel preferred?

If you are pulling the wire through a wall the jacket material is important. You want something that is thick enough that it doesn't tear, but easy enough to peel back when you are putting on the connector.

If you are like me who couldn't run his wires in the wall, a nice white cover that could be painted without primer would be nice.

Not concerned w/ material as long as it shields interference. I love the look, and get lots of wows, from my Alphacore.

1. Locking banana plugs on one end and spades on the other.

2. Personally I prefer black; however having a variety to choose from in order to meet different applications would be a wise business decision for a cable manufacturer.

3. Texflex for anything that is visible, but for in walls anything that pulls well and meets code.

I prefer bananna plugs for the amp/reciever and angled spades for the speakers.

2: Color isn't critical, but I'd prefer dark, such as black or darg gray. I don't really want to show off or notice the cables. I prefer to focus on the sound! Bright yellow, green, pink, etc would not work for me.

3: Mesh or smooth rubber are nice fine. I don't have a thick cable fetish and as long as they flex and don't hang on corners, etc I'm happy.
