Without a doubt, my next purchase has to be a subwoofer( preferable a SVS). I just bought my first home theater speaker set-up and reciever and all I need now is a subwoofer and some good cables to hook everything up with. Hint-Hint-Nudge-Nudge

Well I'm in the process of wanting to have my bedroom LCD wall mounted. I have the wall mount and know of an installer, I just need to get something scheduled. As such this may be considered more of a service then a purchase.

For an actual purchase, I'm dying to get my 4 yr old daughter a small LCD for her bedroom. She currently has one of those cheesy Barbie Princess TV/DVD set ups and while cute, it's quality is far below inferior. THe CRT TV is developing a discoloration and the DVD player doesn't offer menu buttons to navigate thru a menu. So it's play the movie or nothing. you can not navigate thru menu extras, DVD extras, play a secondary movie on the same disc, etc. I've been looking at some of the LCD/DVD combos vs an LCD and stand alone DVD player, but like the simplicity of the one device setup. And of course I'd wall mount the setup for her assuming I can find something of a good deal.

Ideally? or realistically?

Ideally my next purchase will be a new display device. I am holding off until I see for myself if SED holds the promise the press has given it. In my perfect world it would be some form of projector but I realize the WAF means I am looking at some fixed pixel display of around 50" or less. <sigh>

I can only hope she lets me get the surround receiver I have already purchased?
