Price is most important to me. Also important is guaranteed to handle 1080p, but if price is low enough then I would be willing to upgrade in the future when the need arrises.

Size isn't too important if it will fit behind my entertainment center, but if it is too big the I would prefer for it to be much bigger and fit/blend in with my other items.

Number of inputs/outputs is also important depending on the needs of my system I would like to cover all bases, plus one extra output just in case.

Hello All

Product must be flexible, noiseless, handle 1080p and priced right.

Price is King, but features are important

1080P is important since that is where everything is headed. For the most flexibility as many in's and out's is important to with as many combinations of HDMI and DVI as possible. To me, audio control would not be as important.

I went with type of outputs/connections. Clearly I will need something that will mate with my system. Price if I need it, is not a major concern (within reason) Colors makes no difference because I could always paint it, or hide it.
Size would be a concern (honestly I would want something that is thin but wide) Kinda like rack size, so it can be placed in the HT rack.
Also a IR remote is a plus... Also like first poster said, no added distortion..

EDIT:: The reason I say yes to IR remote is because most HT will have a HT learning remote...

My biggest concerns would be the scalability of it. Physical size is not such a concern as it would be hidden in the component closet anyway.

I think 1080p compatibility is the most important feature!

DVI+HDCP 1x2 Spliter & T-Shirts Entry

I'am not clear if contest is still open? If so I feel the 1080 compatability is clearly the path of least .......

DVI+HDCP 1x2 Spliter & T-Shirts Entry(Contest)!

Compatibility with all "High Def Formats" is the most viable.1080p is of corse the "Tao" of Clairity/ resolution! I feel price/cost effectiveness is primary followed by fuction then form.

Function! Function! Function!

A butt-ugly splitter that works -- and has enough types of connectors -- will sell much more readily than a purty toy that doesn't work.

Price, number and type of ins/outs. 1080p isn't as important for me now.

Price is always a consideration

There is no question that the technical and functional specifications are essential. But, at the end of the day, the product needs to be priced competitively and fairly. I enjoy top notch equipment but also like to know I got a good deal when I bought it.
