I have searched for quite some time, but I have found a great sealer for MDF. It's called BIN. I know you are familiar with it considering your former employer. Get the spray can version for ease of use. One coat on the edges and it will sand very nicely. Hope all is well! Gene

As I was spraying the box I didn't like the stone style look, but once the box was complete I realized how well the white accents the black. Once I got to this point I just didn't want to ruin the nice finish by painting it all black. Glad Mike agreed .
