Haha, but seriously, this is my first car and I've had it for about two weeks now; it's really nice to have a car of my own. It used to be my moms, but she got a new car;

Saturn Aura XR [It's actually quite nice, and fast]

That Saturn won many awards. They're supposed ot be a great car, and freaking fast too.

I'm not saying what my rims are yet, I think JG will know. I'll give you a hint, they're only made in Japan, and they're 20 years old.

More pics.

Brian,

Turbo's aren't rice. Rice is big ugly body kits, large rims, dual exhaust pipes (on none dual cars) and vinyls all over the car (window stickers are fine).

I'll give you an example.

Rice:

Not Rice:

This car might look ricey, but if you look under the hood, it's anything but.

Yea, it is a great car so far, especially when you take the price into consideration. I think Saturn claims 0-60 in 5.9, and it still gets ~21 MPG.

I feel ya, I simply meant that most riced out cars have the least expensive turbo the owner can find, so their car goes 'ssspchoo!' when they change gears.

While we're talking about it, my friend showed me this a while a go, gave me quite a laugh;

The best one, IMO; "You put your automatic car in neutral at every stoplight in order to roll it back and try to fool other people into thinking you have a manual transmission"

Sweet. I thought they looked like Mugens, just haven't ever seen them like that (no cap). Some guy about a mile away has some old school Mugens on his CRX and it looks good too.

I like the Fit actually...cool little car.

Oh, don't worry, it's still a rusty hunk of crap. It just has bolt-ons.

Just got this nifty little head unit installed in the Z Friday. Pioneer AVIC-D3 with Nav, XM, Bluetooth and Ipod control.

Escort 8500 X50 hardwired to the rear view mirror.

Mic for the hands free BT and stuck to the window is the transmitter for the alarm.

Shot of the new for 07 3.5L HR engine.

Also got a Autopage two-way pager alarm installed Saturday with all the trinkets.

Some smooth installs there Matt nice car. If I wasn't so lazy I would tear down my car and take pics of the speakers and such I installed, but it requires taking off almost every panel. Damn civics.

Pictures of the finished system.

Here's a breakdown of what was installed:

Pioneer AVIC-D3
Infinity Reference 6022SI 6.5" in the doors
Stock speakers behind the seats
Alpine MRP FR450
Alpine MRP M450
2x 10" MTX 5500 subs in a 1.0 cubic foot enclosure

I'm going to eventually upgrade to components in the doors(again with Infinity) but overall I'm very happy with the SQ and it suits my needs for the wide variety of music I listen too.

Mandatory pet pics.;)

Ordered a Stillen dual intake system and Borla's True Dual exhaust today, will post up some pics and vids when they arrive.

I love that Pioneer system. My buddy has it (one of the models) in his F-150. Did you mod it yet so it will play DVDs while the car is in motion? There are entire communities pumping out mods for those systems.

This is funny.. local police enforcers are stepping up enforcement on cars with loud stereo's and Exhaust system. They're stepping it up so much, that if they think it's to loud, they can issue a ticket, they don't have to check with an SPL meter (98dB max).

And here we have someone voiding the head unit so it will play in motion, yet police choose to crack down on those dangerous exhaust systems.

Not yet, the shop that did the install won't do it for liability reasons but I found how to at http://www.AVIC411.com. It's basically taking one wire and soldering it to another then grounding them to the chassis.

The wife and I are taking a road trip back home next week and I want her to be able to find POI's(motels, gas stations, etc.) on the navigation unit but you can't do that with the vehicle in motion. That takes a lot of the convince out of having nav imo.

Clint,

Here is the "baller" model in the Pioneer lineup the Z1.
