28 Years Later 4K ATMOS Streaming.
SPOILER ALERT.
PQ. Shot and mastered in 4K digital. I think the picture looks good for most parts. Really no complaints.
SQ. Some good ATMOS Overhead sound effects. Some really good bass. Overall pretty good.
Writing. This is where I have a problem with the movie. Partly because I am used to the much better writing of writer/director Frank Darabont (Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, The Mist, The Walking Dead).
I guess Alex Garland is okay, but just not anywhere near the same class as Frank Darabont.
Here are my complaints of the movie.
SPOILER ALERT.
1. The incubation period of all microbes is at least 24hrs, usually 48hrs. But in this movie, the incubation period is 1 second. Just ridiculous.
2. The movie is about people getting infected and becoming zombies, but they spent almost the entire movie talking about a woman dying of cancer.
3. We’re supposed to believe that this weakling 12YR kid can survive in the mainland with zombies everywhere? He is stupid enough to ignore the adults about how it is impossible to cure cancer, and he thinks he might find this might-be-doctor in the woods who might have chemotherapy to cure cancer, if his sorry weakling a$$ survives all the zombies? He must be really stupid.
4. And then at the end we see this group guys doing Kung Fighting and backflips on zombies?
I never saw the original “28 Days Later” because the idiot director used a piece of crap camera that looks worst than some VHS tapes. But was it this ridiculous?
