Like I said above, any of the cheaper subwoofers from the brands I mentioned will destroy anything from CC or BB. Check out Elemental Design's A2-300 or HSU's STF-2. Seriously, sloooooow down and read everyone's responses. Everyone has been very helpful, so check out what they have to say and look at their links.

Now your just pulling our chain arent you.

Size of the woofer and amplifier power have very little correlation to performance.

If all your concerned about is loudness, then maybe you should just go buy some big cerwin vega's and one of those afterburner subs.

That Kicker VCVR152 was NOT RECOMMENDED.

There really should just be a sticky thread that just says the following:

"If you are looking for any speakers, no need to make a thread asking for suggestions. All you need to know is that ID speakers are the best."

Then just have a list of all the usual suspects and flavors of the month with an embedded script that's a dice so people can roll and pick one.

For $2000 I would definitely move away from getting four towers and instead look into bookshelves.

Totem Dreamcatcher fronts and rears

SVS PB12-NSD

B&W 685 fronts
B&W HTM62
B&W 686 rears
SVS PB12-NSD

Out of all those I like the ERA and Paradigm combo best.

IMO the JBL L880 are better than Paradigm Monitor towers. Maybe PSB Image T45 towers if he can find a deal.
