I will concur on the subwoofer that bandphan has suggested in comparison to the Klipsch, The MFW-15 is a large ported sub that will absolutely put the Klipsch with a larger amp to shame in both output, SQ, looks, and performance.

You have a large room which you will need a larger sub to pressurize, If you choose a smaller sub, it will run out of juice long before it has any impact on that large room. Then you will either spend more money to get another sub to add to the one you got, or you will have spent money on something that just doesn't cut the mustard and will be in search of another sub to replace it.

Just because you have a larger more powerful sub doesn't mean you will have to use it to its full potential, but at least you have it in case you want it, and it will not struggle like the 12" would be pushed to its limits and beyond.

I was looking at the polk monitor 70s, or the diva by swans
There is a huge difference in sound quality, and build quality between these two speakers. Like from one end of the spectrum to another. How did these two speakers come to mind?

It should be going to the nearest audio store to listen to some of the suggested speakers.

Seriously. There are lots of good suggestions here and everyone has listed their favourites. They all have their differences and you now need to go out and listen a bunch to figure out which you like best.

I would also take some time to listen to a movie (with good lfe) with and without a sub just so you know what the difference is.

Once you do the above, things will fall into place nicely.

Let us know how it goes.

Those are not my favorites. But a very good suggestion non the less. ;)
Um, thats what I meant, yea.. your favourite good suggestions. ;)

On ID brands, visit their websites as most/all will have a section for requesting local auditions (if someone has the speaker you are looking at locally).
