Having your favorite team move sucks bad. It's such a torn feeling because the players and coach you love are on that evil team, but the owner you hate is still there. And you can't really get on board with a replacement team in the city either. Thankfully for me I was close enough to Dallas to have someone to fall back on. Still it's hard to watch football sometimes wondering what could have been. Dallas is like an imposter. It's the default team not my real favorite team. I have no luck in football. My Pro team moved and my college team hasn't made a bowl in over 15 years. Yet football is my favorite sport.

I think it's about wanting to win another title. His best shot is with Minnesota because they have AP and a great O-Line.
I think it's about being out of the spotlight and not getting any attention. Why now instead of the beginning of training camp? He would be a bigger asset to the team by learning the offense and building chemistry with his team before the preseason started and given himself a better shot at a title too.
Favre did make a decision that he was not going to sign with any team this year. However the only reason he is back is because the Vikings coach called him again and asked if he still wanted to sign. I think it is more desperation from the Vikings organization that they are not confident in their current qb's and we all know how it ends up when teams put the bug in his ear.
Maybe as a very late round pick. Harvin is very short for an NFL receiver (5'11" on a good day). College WRs learn really quickly that it's a lot harder to play in the NFL and beat CBs and Safeties that are much better in coverage and hit a lot harder than those guys in college. I could see Harvin having some success out of the backfield and as a situational slot receiver, but he's too small and inexperienced to get many looks down by the goal line.
From a fantasy perspective it definitely makes the Vik's offense more desirable. AP will get more running room, and the WR will get better (alteast better then what the Vik's have now) chances to score. I by no means am a fan of Farvre, but I think he makes them a better team. The Vik's are a team that need to win soon, and with AP in his prime there is no better time.
