Jauron is a one hit wonder. Phillips hasn't had a losing record in his stay at Valley Ranch and he's won the NFC East twice. He just blasted the Eagles at home in his first home playoff game with the Boys.

Injuries are out of a coaches control. Losing your starting left tackle in the middle of a playoff game against a great D-Line makes it impossible to win. There isn't a right handed QB in this league that can win without his Left Tackle.

I realize you want to sabotage the Cowboys by getting them to let go of a good coach, but we aren't buying it. We had one of the top 2 defenses in the league this year. So I think Phillips did his job just fine. Flozell going down was unexpected, but that's football injuries happen and they cost games, seasons and what not.
Actually I would be helping the Cowboys ;), improvement in a big way ;) . Jerry Jones was in excellent position. I would have let Wade go and would have persued Bill Cowher. There is a no better time to grab him than right now and I think he would have wanted the Dallas job.

Well now if you are going to throw around the injury excuse lets face it , The Eagles had more injuries than any other team that made the playoffs, give me a healthy starting line up and I feel the outcome of the game would have been a lot different, next year will be a different story..

I actually believe the Saints took that honor. Something like 19 players on IR, including a starting LT, the starting FB, a starting DT, two second-string LBs, and the second and third TE.

I would love to see Manning vs Farve in the Superbowl now that would be cool,no disrespect to the other teams but that would be a dream match-up.

I would enjoy that as well but still feel the need to cheer for our local team this weekend. (Even though they aren't the Giants)

The Eagles got served. Nothing better than watching the Cowboys beat them 2 weeks in a row. Still you guys did have a rough year. Even after scoring a team record. Still it's the reason they lost that game. Just like the reason the Eagles weren't competitive with the Boys was their injuries. I think the Giants are the Faves next year though with their easier schedule. It will be a 3 way fight again as it always is. And if Mike S works it could be a 4 way fight. All the Skins need is an offense and we know Mike S can do that.

Apparently the guys behind them were better. So maybe it was luck. :D

I think we'll have a Saints vs Colts Super Bowl. I hope for a Saints vs Jets and a Saints win. After the crap you guys went through down there you deserve this IMO. Plus that game would be sick.

Hah. Those starters - the (Pro Bowl) LT, the FB (Evans from the Pats, helped them to that 18-1 season), and the DT are pretty sorely missed, actually. Imagine if the Saints hadn't had so many injuries.

Ah well. They're pretty healthy now, ignoring the above. Charles Grant didn't do too much during the regular season or the Cards victory, but he's on IR now and I think he may be missed too.

I'm not convinced Cowher would be an upgrade. First, I don't think the players on this team would fit a Cowher system. Second, they just ended a 12 year playoff drought with a huge win over their rivals. Third, no way Cowher coaches here. Jerry has too big of an ego. Which is great for the stadium he built, but tough on getting good coaches. Fourth, the Cowboys have assembled a very good staff and I'm not interested in messing that up.

I think the goal for this season was realistically to win a Playoff game. As the team matures and improves greater things are possible, but it did take Mr. Cowher several years to actually win a Super Bowl. This seems to be lost on people. He also lost his first 2 playoff games.

I realize your Anti-Phillips feelings are too strong for an objective opinion on the subject, but still objectively I don't think there is a case for firing Wade.

Vikings vs Saints - Go Percy Harvin! Hope to see a few tricks up your sleeve today ;) along with a solid return game. This is such a good matchup, both very good teams, probably the best NFC championship in years. I expect this to be a somewhat close game. 34-28 Vikings.

Jets vs Colts - I expect Peyton Manning to dink and dunk to the backs and te all day against the overload defense. Drag routs and quick slants to wr's, te/wr screens and when it presents itself (Revis will be moved around all game) Manning will go for the kill and it will be game over. Jets are not a comeback team, the Colts are. Oh yeah, the Colts can actually play some defense now too ;). 24-10 Colts.

ENJOY THE FOOTBALL GAMES EVERYONE AND GO PERCY HARVIN! :)
