Received my Carnegie CSB1's today, a lot of people wanted to know what I thought...

Carnegie seems to be pretty slow on the shipping. I placed my order with Danny last Thursday, hoping they would ship on Friday. They just shipped TODAY!

I got mine in about a week, did you inquire about shipping times? I didn't and received no tracking number but I was happy to see them in around a week... When are they due to arrive to you?

Danny told me 4-5 days, shipping out of Chicago. He also said though that my grilles should be arriving any time; shipped separate from my center.

Huge? That's relatively typical height for a decent center even a mass market one from big name brands. You can only make the cabinet so small with 5 1/4" drivers.

Got the tracking number from Danny at GR. They shipped yesterday and are due to arrive on Tuesday the 8th. Kind of a bummer because I was hoping to have them this weekend. But Tuesday is a good day because that's my Yoga day and I don't go to the guy like every other day so I'll have some time to play.

Do you think I can get by with one of those little T-class amps made in China from parts express that is like 2 x 25 watts to power the bookshelves and just use my iPod as my source for a month or so till I get all my equipment out of storage.
