Are these B_Stock still available?
I am thinking about buying a pair and the center to replace my PSBs for my front stage in my HT? Sounds like a great deal. I can likely sell my PSB used for about the same as I can get this pair and matching center.

When I talked to Danny he said they have quite a few still, but the supply is not unlimited.

I'm sure they are selling more now because of this post, I have 3 pm's from people that bought them, lol... I am moving min upstairs tonight so I can try them out in the big room and see how they behave, we are having "company" over tonight, 12 of my "closest" friends, lol....

I hope there are some B stock towers left, and if there are not, I should have kept my mouth shut last night.

Correct me if I'm wrong here as I have not had much time to look at why they are B stock, but my impression is it is not a cosmetic issue but requires some work on the customer's part?

Yes, the manufacturer incorrectly installed the "stuffing" so you need to remove a driver, take out the filling, and distribute it eevenly alog the side walls vs how they just tstuffed it behind the drivers....

I haven't "fixed" mine yet, but Danny assures it is pretty simple. I've rebuilt all of my other GRs myself and other than being really careful with the finish on these, it should be pretty straight forward.

Not a bad deal, remove the drivers move some stuffing around, and save 50%. Sounds like I can upgrade without spending more.

I wonder if I can get some other speaker manufacturers to incorrectly install their stuffing.

I sent them an email over the weekend and tried to call the phone # on the website. The phone number on the website is not correct and no response to my email inquiry. Any ideas?

I am ordering the bookshelves and matching center. They sound like they still have quite a lot available. So $399 for the bookshelves and $349 for the center. I plan to replace my PSBs with these for my HT set up. They will eventually have my DIY 15"s with them. Should be a great combo.

I am in the process of moving right now.... So everything is in storage till the end of October though. I may pick up a used receiver on Craigslist so I can at least listen to them in the short term.

Awesome, you should really enjoy them, I spent a little time listening tonight...

My OM bought a pair and paired them with a set of svs sb12 nsd's, a pair of outlaw monos, and a parasound 2100 preamp, the system came really nice, and at 1/2 volume they FILL her entire home, very easy to dial in, we used the internal 80hz xover, and dialed the subs in they integrated very well, and will all that piano gloss black in there they look amazing... she is going to have some custom gloss stands made for the amps, preamp and bookshelfs...

I am really like them svs sealed subs, very fast, tight, and small.. They get as low as you will ever need for music, with two of them they barely work even at high room shaking volumes. But the csb-1's had no trouble keeping up, and I think I read 150w power rating? and they took the 200w per ch of the outlaws without breaking a sweat {just for a quick test ;), I am running the same electronics as her, but with wd sw300 subs, I am thinking when the csb's get moved somewhere on their own, the will have some svs's with them...

I tried sending an email with no response as well, simply did not have a chance to call today.

Hopefully, I'll get a chance to call tomorrow. I'm really thinking about getting the towers and simply going 2.0 since I am in an apartment. I will probably add a sub or two at some point, but wires to rear surrounds just do not interest me anymore, especially with new furniture. I'm also far more interested in music performance vs home theater so a center is an option I may try to avoid.

The towers are a transmission line design I believe, so they extend rather deep for a smallish tower. I'll say you could easily get away without a sub with them in a typical room. My main system is in an apartment and I have my Empire in that... But I am still pondering going with the towers as well.

Yes from what I've read they are a transmission line, so they should play deeper than my current towers. Not to be a bad influence, but I myself prefer towers even with a sub.

Plus, if I take the sub out of play, I'll have a cleaner look around the TV, at least until I get the desire for a new sub.

It depends for me. If the tower and the bookshelf have the same driver compliment, then the tower only offers more extension due to the ability to tune lower. In the case of these, the towers have the same configuration as the center and are thus higher sensitivity than the bookshelf. For a music only system, with or without a sub, I will opt for towers.

Hoping my center will arrive today.

I'll be calling about ordering tomorrow, I was all set to order the towers when I saw a set of used Ohm Walsh Tall 2000's for only 500. Decided to sleep on the decision, but the Ohms were gone by the morning. Guess my decision was made for me.

Carnegie seems to be pretty slow on the shipping. I placed my order with Danny last Thursday, hoping they would ship on Friday. They just shipped TODAY!
