I wasn't going to do this but ... zebras and stripes.
The gear looked like this but I wanted to clean it up some.
The room looked like this but I wanted to clean that up too.
You know ... a little wire management, remove the pictures above the speakers, relocate the router and modem and pretty much anything else I could come up with to make it a better picture. As soon as I pulled the sub out of the corner I was compelled to remove the plate amp for a look see.
What's that 120Hz thing about on the back of the driver?
Anyway that made me dig out the you know what ...
... thankfully it's my last roll and I hope to never see anymore ever again ... but it does drive down the resonant frequency of the box and lower frequencies take more energy to excite which when compounded with the fact that they are harder for humans to hear makes for a box whose resonance is less audible to humans. Somebody correct me if I'm off base here. So I'm going to quickly cut up the rest of the P&S to install in the box. At a later date I'll take the whole thing down to Eddies and throw some real bracing in there. I wanna get every last bit of performance I can out of my $36 investment.
So the bottom line is that it looks like a bomb went off in there ... again.
Better get crackin'.
