I just re-read this thread for fun, and its funny how two more years (well, more like a year and a half or so) of research and experience can change your viewpoint. I'll be the first to admit I was foolish to question avaserfi and WmAx's citations of Toole and Olive's work. Since then I've read every white paper, blog and article I could find that they've written, not to mention I am currently reading Dr. Toole's "Sound Reproduction." I still don't think I'd have the guts to purchase a speaker without ever having heard it, but I agree with everything I formally didn't.
In short, I was wrong, have change my viewpoint, and can openly admit it to the masses.

Toole and Floyd are geniuses, and I am thankful you guys gave me incentive to read the rest of their research (well, as much as I could acquire anyway).
So where can I get my hands on a speaker shuffler?

Oops...ah, waveguides...yeah, waveguides.
