I love my Energy RC set up. Only thing I might do is exchange the 50's for 70's and then give the wive the RC 10's for a little 2 chan.

BUT I will probably just save all of that upgrade my sub and do a stereo style sub set up to blend in with the towers, and LFE for movies, and then buy a kick but set for a dedicated 2 chan. Mac amp and maggies maybe? Maybe audio research and throw down more money for MN companies

I am sitting the fence on seating. I loved this set of oxblood powered chairs I sat in at HOM but they were almost 1200 a chair I think. No thanks. Craigslist leather couches may be my next buy.

Check out Boston Tables in Ohio. My seats cost $375 each, free shipping (even to here in CA), w/ 5 yr in-home warranty. Leather seats, but arms and back are fake leather. Still looks great.

They will drop it at front of your home, but will not help you lug it inside.

I don't know how fat is fat, but I have a pretty wide friend who comes over with some regularity. He used to be a pro baseball player, for the Cincinnati Reds. First baseman, big guy. He's comfy as hell in them, in fact too comfy. His snoring is not quiet, my friends can tell you!

He's watched more movies at my place than I can remember. He loves the seats. The actual "back" where your back is touching is real leather. All the way down to where your legs are being supported. Its the arms, and the actual "BACK" of the seat that is not real leather.

I only care where I sit when it comes to the leather so great! I have found that the 24 inch seats are usual the right size for me I will have to go re measure against the ones I liked.

It's actually my shoulders. I wear a 50-55 in sport coats depending on who cut the coat.

Now I recall I had to put seats together. IIRC, maybe* only two pieces I think. Seat back is not attached. There are two slots that you fit them into to attach, no tools necessary. Easier with a friend though. The point is its not one whole piece, and Im pretty sure it should be doable even with a spiral staircase. Break a little sweat is all, maybe.

You are welcome. Hey I ran into this site because of a Deals post by someone else, so the least I can do is spread the knowledge and wealth.

FWIW, some people had landed excellent deals on Berklines, even if still more expensive than these. I've never sat in one before, but I figure they must be better built for the premium. A vendor had a short lived firesale at AVS for instance not all that long ago. You might even try PMing rmk, because I think he mighta landed a good deal too, though I can't remember if it was local to him or not.

We had a dealer order us a 1080UB home, but he messed up and got a regular 1080 home cinema. It was $600 cheaper + $300 cash back and a spare lamp. After talking with the guy for awhile we kept it. I can see know reason to spend the extra money. We do have a room that is light controlled.

If my dealer had screwed up, I would not even take it home. If I had made up my mind on the 1080UB, I would demand the 1080UB regardless of price differences.

Just got back from vacation. The visa is on fire. Burnind a hole in my pocket. I'm going to call focupix dealer today and buy both the UB and the screen if all works out well!

Then.... off to the furniture store for some measurements to see the size off chairs I would like then I order those.

I meant ceiling mounts for the projector, but I suppose you could get away with a screen ceiling mount.

I mean some people do mount electric screens on ceiling. You can get pretty creative. I have done it both ways: ceiling mount and wall mount for the screen.

You will probably have to ask Epson, but it looks like you do get a free replacement light bulb plus the mail-in-rebate for $300.

I don't know if I would buy anything from JERKS regardless of price. You are paying a lot of money after all.
