New Member - Pics of RTi8 (Cherry) and MFW-15 sub

I just received my RTi8 in cherry and these speakers are gorgeous. I didn't realize how nice this finish was. These pictures don't do the finish justice. I also have a MFW-15 in satin black. The MFW is huge. I tried to show the size in relation to my couch and computer desk. I had a mental image from the dimensions, but it was a lot bigger than I imagined. Please don't mind the fleece blanket on top of my sub. I was afraid people would start using it as an end table so I covered it to protect the finish. Enjoy.

Really nice pics! Those RTi's are some good looking speakers, how does the MFW sound? I was wondering if space was an issue or if it sounded best right beside the couch?

The RTi8 sounds great. It is very detailed, crystal clear, in your face sound, and the sound stage is awesome. I upgraded from Athena F2s and these are definitely a lot better. I just unboxed my CSi5 and I calibrated my system. Now to watch a movie and see just how great this center speaker is. I have "The Bourne Identity" playing at the menu select screen and wow, there is a lot of bass coming from the center. No center that I have had or heard had that much bass coming from it before (Athena AS-C1, Polk CS2).

The MFW-15 is an awesome sub. I live in an apartment and it shakes the whole building. I had to put it between the couch and computer desk due to space issues. That was literally the only place I could put them.

Thank you. I shoot with a Nikon D300. Yeah, the MFW-15 needs more attention and loving. You won't be disappointed.
