Hey David, I got a CLR 3000 from somewhere else, so please disregard my request for one. Thanks again though for doing this for everyone.

I would like to place an order David

I am interested in:

(1) Mythos Ten $557.38
(2) Mythos Super Towers $2478.76
(2) Mythos Gem XL $432.76

Looks like my local magnolia has the reference supercube down from $1700 to $999 right now. I am going to run down and pick that up before the sale ends :D

How do I get in touch with you to coordinate this? Approximately, when are you ordereing, receiving, re-shipping and me receiving?

Thanks

Hey GlocksRock, you must be a night owl too! Hey, I've almost setlled on the CLR3000 as a replacement for a bad 2300 I'm using. (Long story....) But I don't know anybody who has one and my Magnolia doesn't stock it, so no demo there.

Anyway, just wondering how you like it? Are you using its sub for your LFE channel or just for lots center-channel oomph? Any feedback appreciated.

Just using it as a full range center, I let my SVS sub take care of the LFE. So far I really like it a lot, it's a huge upgrade from my previous CLR 2002.The sound is so much fuller and I set the recievers center to large and now I hear bass from the center channel and it's so nice. I've never heard a 2300, but I can only imagine that you wouldn't be at all dissapointed if you got the 3000.

Love the Mythos

David,

I have received and set up my Mythos speakers:

(1) Mythos Ten
(2) Mythos Super Towers
(2) Mythos Gem XL

I have spent the last week breaking in the speakers and listening to a variety of music and movies.

The sound is just phenomenal. The speakers can handle any type of music...from Jazz to Classical to Broadway Shows. Shows and concerts like Celtic Woman, Barbra Streisand and Sarah Brightman make you feel like you are sitting orchestra center.

I have never heard such pure sound from a set of speakers. Sounds that you had never heard or were muddled in past systems are prestine and clear.

On the movie front, Lord of the Rings, King Kong. Gigi, Blackhawn Down, etc. never sounded better. I am now revisiting my DVD collection and discovering new sounds and a unique movie experience.

You are to be commended for your efforts in not only getting the speakers but also shipping them from CA to the NYC area on a timely basis.

I highly recommend that all you other audiophiles consider purchasing these outstanding speakers on Dave's next order.

Regards...Kent

Oh, I whole-heartedly believe you. But there are also a bunch of Def Tech-haters out there for some reasons.

Basically, people who bought Paradigms swear up and down that Paradigms sound better than Def Techs and everything else.:D

People who bought B&Ws swear that B&Ws sound better than Def Techs and everything else.:D

And many of them have already decided which speakers would be the best even before they bought them.:D

But I truly believe you when you say that the Def Techs are extremely clear and smooth sounding.:D

No problem... after hearing how much nicer the speakers sound with built in subs, I'm thinking of upgrading my BP10s to some BP7002s.

Hi David,

are you my saviour - I am wanting (or needing or desperate) for a set of XL Gems, some DT in ceiling speakers and a Mythos 3 or 7 center speaker, and possibly a set of Mythos stands. When will you be putting in another order and would you be willing to assist in shipping to the UK - I would be paying by paypal and will organise the courier from my side. If you know about the uk site of AV-Forums I am a regular poster on there with the same username

Please Please Please say you can help :)

David's home theater

Ok, David, every time I check the thread, I take a look at those great pics of your home-theater-in-the-making. So I finally have to ask my burning questions: How does that screen wall work with the two windows on it? Where will your equipment rack(s) go? And what about the projector? (The pre-wiring looks so comprehensive that I'm surprised not to see cabling somewhere up in the rear of the room for it. I assume I must be looking in the wrong place.)

Please keep the pics coming I can almost imagine the chairs in there already...

The city made me put those windows in. I plan on covering them up once I'm done and mounting the 135" screen up there. As far as the rack, It is built into the wall in the back of the room. I have cables running everywhere and the projector is going to be ceiling mounted about 15' feet back from the screen. I'll post some modified pictures showing whats in my head.

Thanks!!!
