I keeping LOL at the Trump evangelical since the very things they criticize in society (secularism, immorality, lack of kindness etc) is the very thing Trump is. How do you recover? :p

Apparently Homan has pulled the plug on ICE in MN.
Last I saw only reducing the force by 700 or so, compared to a previous escalation that's not even covering that. Still way out of proportion compared to "red" infested states....

As of right now this is just an investigation. Nevertheless, it suggests that some people in the federal government are not completely ignoring federal law when it comes to federal employees.

>>>Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Todd Lyons said Friday that his agency had opened a joint probe with the Justice Department after video evidence revealed "sworn testimony provided by two separate officers appears to have made untruthful statements." . . . "Lying under oath is a serious federal offense," said Lyons, adding that the U.S. Attorney's Office is actively investigating.<<<

Of course, Trump can grant the officers pardons, so this may not result in any much of anything.

I don't fully understand what the issues are (not pointing at you) I just remarried and my wife had no issues updating passport, real ID, social security and so on. Yes a little time consuming (more so on updating financial info) but it was as simple as sending in the documents required, our marriage certificate was not from the US as we did a destination wedding, and still no problems what so ever. (We are both US citizens)

I found just updating my DL to "real ID" a pain myself and doubtful it increased security any.....but then you support ICE being police that they aren't, heil hitler!

I updated mine as well. I was going to say it wasn't that big a deal but now that you mention it, it was a pain. Scheduling the appointment was a pain, going there was a pain (tolls involved), had to take the eye test twice, it was more money than they said which exceeded my balance by just that much, my g/f's credit card wasn't acceptable so I had to use our joint checking debit card. Paying the tolls via internet after receiving the bill in the mail was a pain. And for what? I don't want to fly anywhere. I don't even want to drive. The whole thing has been a terrible imposition. Thank you for helping me realize that.

I can't recall who made the video, but the argument I heard was that if a married woman had her married name on the voter registry but the new rules required one to provide a birth certificate, then the names would not match and she could be denied the right to vote.

You mean there is voter fraud data out there to warrant this massive change? Yes, it is massive.

How would it increase security in your case. ;) Or my real ID.

Big change for the better, not sure who would be against it. Regardless of political party, make a system that citizens trust. They cry i dont have a birth certificate and need to buy one...I have my original and was under the impression that it is a pretty important document to have. I dont feel bad for those that have to pay a 'fine' to obtain that document.

You're right, it's the irresponsible 'whiners' that object the most. The system doesn't have to be complicated, let common sense prevail ........

I saw this interesting link when I opened my Firefox browser window. I'm not sure how accurate this report is but it does fall in the realm of an idiotic, narcissistic, AHOLE that Trump is.

So you didn't answer my question, is there credible evidence of voter fraud that warrants this change?
And, all of a sudden people don't trust the system?
