Greetings!

Would a 55 inch OLED be enough for watching most 1080p movies, sometimes 4K on viewing distance 2.8 meters or a TCL C765 55" and maybe a 65" if I can find one and if this model worth for 1080p upscaling..
I wouldn't get a 65" OLED because it's too expensive in my country.

I think you will be fine with the 55" OLED.

Since someone resurrected this OLD OLD thread, I have TCL's 2024, 55QM751G, Mini Led, since September 2024, as that is what I could afford. This Mini Led picture is really remarkable. There are reviews vs both. Good luck

Sept 24 2025 is old old? Just what is this "mini led" tech about primarily?
Not old at all , I’ll go "mini led" or qled when my 4k non hdr tv breaks. Or I’ll just use my old lcd tv if it still works by then.
I had a hdmi issue but turnes out the cable went bad. So the xbr still works . Shame I don’t have hdr but most my content is only 1080-720p anyways .
Oled I’m afraid of burn in? Even if it’s rare.
