If I get to choose between Biden, Harrir, or Warren - I'd scrutinize every person's actions, vote, and views.

I lean right of center on most of my views but 2024 presidental outlook is downright depressing. The DNC for propping up Joe (we aren't doing primaries? Wtf) If you look up word salad, you'll find a picture of the VP.

The Current Republican candidates are a poop-show.
Recent polls say something like 60-70% of Dems want another option (Not Joe), same with Republicans.(Not Trump)

I never thought in a million years I'd say this, but I would take Bernie Sanders over the lot of them.

His age is a concern to me, but seems still to be the best candidate so far....

From an European point of view it sometimes can be funny to read what some Americans consider far left, socialist, communist and so forth.

People like Bernie Sanders, Elisabeth Warren and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are what we here would call social democrats, and that has a commitment to private ownership and a free-market mixed economy.

On the other hand we do have parties that actually call themselves Socialist as well as Communist, and in several countries in Europe they are a sizeable minority of the electorate.

But still, both parties are a far cry from what their parties really represented back in the day. Now its fight each other and do nothing to support the citizens. We got far left and far right and helpless in between that are overshadowed by their "far/radical" members and leaders. The right would rather hassle Slow Joe and the Left would and still fights to stop anything Trumpo. Heck how about do what they were elected for and start fixing this country before its history. Its already broke, but NOOO, lets keep on keeping one. Its makes one question who these Congressional FAR people actually work for. Themselves to get that big old paycheck and boost their fucking ego, or a foreign country, or some secret in crowd ultra rich world wide society. I don't know how term limits can be forced on that mob when they would be the ones who enact it- it would be similar to lowering their pay when they decide how much they make. We also need to end money from lobbying.

How can we force that on them? Next question- who would want to run for those offices if they know they can't wield power for so long and become wealthy from all the perqs? That would require people who want to hold those offices as a public service and the only ones we get are the ones who want to service themselves and each other. (Yes, that means what it seems)

Term limits should have been instituted long ago and now that Pandora's box has been opened, it's gonna be damned hard to reverse it. Maybe we can build some performance requirements into their jobs- the link shows that the approval rating for Congress is at 16% and I'm surprised by that- I thought it was lower.
