Monolith price just increased by price for 15inch v2 by $300. Even with the so-called sale price, it cost $200 more than the price 4 days ago. Is there anything else better than mono 15inch v2 at the same price? I already have one mono 15inch v1 and want to get a second one, I hope if buy a different brand now because of the price increase, it may still sound good together.

Better is subjective but look at Rythmik and PSA as alternative

There really isn't anything significantly better at that pricing. You should make sure the system matches, and just bite the bullet for a 2nd Monolith 15".

Mixing and matching Subs has the potential to add many complexities to multi-sub systems. The problems can be overcome but require something like a MiniDSP device to help manage and much more time fiddling with setup to get beyond those problems.
The closer your subs match in FR and Roll Off, the fewer those problems.
@john20182050 , in a way this comes back to values... you may be bent out of shape a little because you missed the better pricing, but this is taking place everywhere right now, not just Monolith/Monoprice. You will more likely be doing yourself a disservice by changing horses in midstream and buying from another company.

Agreed. Also, it might be worth a phone call to their “CS” dept. as a return customer, they might grandfather him in.

I can second that mixing and matching subs is difficult. I have a Mirage BPS-400 (dual sealed 12”) an M&K MX125 MkII (dual opposed sealed 12”) and an Atlantic Technology 372 (sealed THX 15”) without my MiniDSP 2x4 HD it’s a mess. Even with it, my response could be much better as you can see

How about 'not DIY' but an 'AIY' solution like the GSG Marty 15" or SQL Marty 15" kits?
Since the Monolith was mentioned above.. I'll use the Mono15THX ($1499+) for comparison...
CEA2010 (from Audioholics bench)
2 Ports open, Hz/dB
12.5/98.6, 16/105, 20/109, 25/113, 31.5/115, 40/116, 50/116 Stays 116 to 125Hz
3 Ports open, Hz/dB
12.5/90, 16/103, 20/109, 25/113, 31.5/116, 40/117, 50/117 Stays 116 to 125Hz

Marty SQL 15", Tuned at 21hz
12.5/99, 16/107, 20/114, 25/116, 31.5/116, 40/117, 50/117 Stays 116 to 125Hz

Cost.. $576 for two kits, $622 for two drivers, $580 for 2x1200w DSP amplification, $320 shipping & $100 for glue, brush & 1G of Duratex ($2198pr) *plus a weekend of fun!

Sorry, I went with dual SVS SB Ultra 16inch for $4750. I know it much higher price compared to monolith but I think it's worth it.

I don't think you can go wrong here with these products from these companies. You get the awesome SVS app too now. I love it.

What subwoofer cable I should use? Is Mediabridge ULTRA Series Subwoofer Cable 15 feet good? Do I need to buy less than 10 feet to reduce signal loss?

Wouldn’t worry about signal loss. You can use 50’ and not worry about it.

I would have bought the monos fwiw. But congratulations on new subs!
