Mine were high-end ... one of the best I have owned ... the QL C50 are small, so may not be worth the ride, but MB Quart tends to be clear, open, and robust sounding
Contacted the seller C50 mercy he is only 40min away...Yep not alot of bass, but got subs so no worries. I guessing these are mid tier at least I hope so. Let me go research...

I see VS speakers a lot on Craigslist. Those ones aren't too awful far for me, but not exactly around the corner either. What did they retail for new? What do you think my chances would be of reselling for a profit? What are the chances I might like them better than my Sierra ribbon towers..? So many questions, lol. Thing is, I have that in cash, on hand right now. I also have a wife who knows where I keep my gun and knows how to use it... lol.

*PS- They do look like substantial speakers, and pretty much designed to be passive bi amped.
They sold for around $3500 back in the mid 1990's. I can't say you'll make a huge profit flipping them. A good condition pair will usually sell between $1500 to $1800. I was only suggesting you give them a listen. ;)

BA VR950's?! Ahhh, the nostalgia.
I see a lot of BA speakers in Craigslist. I know they were pretty popular but I have zero experience with their home gear. I did have a pair of BA Pros in my truck tho, and they were pretty awesome. I loved those speakers. I miss that whole system... sigh.

I owned a pair for 20 years. Gifted them to a friend just getting into audio when I got my Salks.

Yeah, I had the BA Pro 3 way system in two of my old car systems. They were fantastic. I liked them so much, that my car audio shop offered to get me the BA home system at cost when I told them I was looking for home theater stuff. I ended up with a full 5.1 BA system for $1600: VR 950's, VR10 Center, their dipole surrounds (this was the late 90's afterall), and their 10" ported sub. I think at the time the VR 950's were retailing for $1000 a pair.

A whole 7.1 setup of rolled up condom driver speakers! Surely I'm not the only one who makes this connection. Are they subliminally promoting safe listening?

I would leave the grilles on these bad boys all the time, lol. Only $700 for all of it tho.

Another ad for Infinity IL speakers! He's asking too much tho, says right in the ad the powered woofers are crackling "but you can turn them off or replace them..." $600. C'mon man, really? I was hoping to see he had IL40s but prolly woulda wanted too much for those too...

Now these Acoustic Research M6s look... interesting. If they weren't beat to poop, that is.

Never heard of them before. Looks like there are dual woofers on the sides too. Hundred bucks.

These Paradigm Studio 60 v.3s have been up for quite a while now at $600, which is why I keep skipping over them. I just looked at a stereophile review with measurements and they actually look like pretty good speakers.
