I really like the looks of it now that I’ve seen one installed in a system !
I'd love to see this design spill into stereo amps, since I'm not all that into avr's. I think I might even go for it.

This is mine. I love that uncluttered look

Indeed I like that too I’ve always like the uncluttered look of the carver amps like the fella up above has too . I like the hidden doors on the Yamaha’s . My carver Tom’s have the old school looking meters but I usually turn them off or dim them that unit you have pictured there I like the looks of .

Oh, there it is. I was asking about the little Imperial droid AVR in another thread. That look grows on you, very sharp. Were there any firmware updates to run out of the box?

After a cursory demo with some gear immediately on hand (Incase Sonic, Velodyne vPulse, Ultimate Ears UE900s) it is easily and readily apparent that it blows the dac in the iPhone away...

That’s Ash the Ruffian! He’s quite the character and lives up to his name.
We've got four beasts, all feral born in two different litters from the same queen. She brought us the first two kittens in litter 1, she came by 6 months later for 2 days with two from a second litter, but didn't hang around here with them. Then 6 months later she had four in a 3rd litter. We got two of them, had to have one put down (sick) and the other got away along with the feral father... Mom got snatched and fixed after that litter! :)

She still comes by almost daily for food. :D

Nice! Is it for you? and what size? Since I have moved to Florida with lots of bike trails I'm thinking of getting a bike.
Yep new one for the fleet (bikes are my other "hobby" aside from audio/video gear), I generally ride the large size from Santa Cruz (per their sizing chart suggested for riders 5'9" to 6'1" in height), the wheel size is 27.5". Got this one as I've been getting a bit lazy in my old age and this will get me out more often.

This is an e-bike, so check to see if they're permitted on your trails....even pedal assist e-bikes (as opposed to simply throttle types which depending on speed governors can even be considered motorcycles) are banned on a variety of trails. Where I live in the Willamette National Forest we are permitted to ride on any singletrack designated for motorcycles (or any of the logging/fire roads). This particular type of bike might be overkill on most trails in Florida (altho you do have some mountain bike parks with some challenges, just no mountains :) ). This is Santa Cruz' only e-bike....if you want to see some variety in types check out the Specialized e-bikes.

Was just playing around with the app to change levels of boost in the various riding modes....might have to check in with a friend who apparently has the software to seriously hack into it for customization.
