Just get a basic AVR. Or you can go with something from Extron or Crestron. They make good splitters/switchers/scalers.

It’s going to be pretty tough to find a 5-input HDMI switcher. As MOSHY25 mentioned, your best bet is a AV receiver, maybe something like the Marantz NR1403 or NR 1608.

If all you care about is a switcher you don't even need an AVR of that caliber. $150 Sony at Best buy but only has 4 inputs or Extron SW6 HDMI for $200 on eBay.

Find a refurbished 4K receiver. Denon makes a few with 5 HDMI ports. Or use the TV as your HDMI switch and feed audio to your existing receiver via the TV's HDMI ARC.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2R66EY8402&ignorebbr=1&cm_re=5x1_hdmi_switch-_-9SIA2R66EY8402-_-Product

You are looking for a 5x1 HDMI SWITCH (not splitter). The one linked above claims HDMI 2.0 support, with HDCP 2.2 support, but some reports are that it is not 18Gb/s compliant. Not sure about that since the advertisement lists otherwise.

At $50 it is a product which gives me questionable vibes on build quality.

It's pretty much identical to the one you pulled a description from...
https://www.amazon.com/Switch-FiveHome-Switcher-Support-Wireless/dp/B076XWNQP9

So, these all come off the same assembly line in China and who knows how well they will work for you since the Amazon reviews are all over the place.

This one has over 200 Amazon reviews (which mostly suck) and a good number are 1 star reviews.

Some specifically talk about it not supporting UHD at 18Gb/s which is the entire point of the HDMI 2.0 specification.

I love Crestron and Extron, but they are behind the curve at the moment on HDMI 2.0 compatibility and support. The previously mentioned Extron SW6 HDMI does support HDMI 2.0 at all.

To get full HDMI 2.0 support with 18Gb/s, you need to get the SW4 HD 4K PLUS, which is only a 4 port switcher as they don't offer a 6 port version yet.

https://www.extron.com/product/product.aspx?id=swhd4kplus&subtype=233&s=8

I would get a receiver with full HDMI 2.0 support as there should be solid support for the product, and the price will be in line with a good stand alone HDMI switcher.

I’m sure they have AC adapters in England? You know, these things. Judging from the picture at Amazon, you will need an 230-volt AC adapter with a 5-volt DC output.

Sounds easy, but the adapter will also need to have the correct plug end. This means both the outside diameter of the plug, as well as the diameter of the hole in the center, will have to be sized correctly in order for it to properly fit into the socket on the Vorke. In addition, the polarity must be as shown on the side of the Vorke.

If you're relating to the RX-A3060, that receiver has Class A/B amplifiers. AFAIK, there are no AVRs on the market at present using the Class D technology.

Why do you need Class D amps? They don't perform any better than Class AB amps. They are more efficient and heat less however.

HI

i will be buying 4 chane music 5.4 speakers as rears as fronts
a chane music 2.4 centre
using a denon 4400 amp
plus 2 other chane 2.4 as additional rears

but what about for height channels for atmos dtsx auro 3d
woud the svs prime elevation speakers be a very good match for the rest of the speakers
or would i be still better of using an additional 4 chane 2.4 speakers as atmos duties

or any other in ceiling to get maximum performance from this setup

also would the parasound a21 be a very good amp to use with the denon 4400
to enhance the audio of the 2 front speakers would it be a great match with the chane speakers

also i want to add a chane 3600 amplifier to this setup
and use 2 svs sb16 ultra subs
and 2 chane sbe 118 subs as well again will they work extremely well together with this setup thanks

You should contact Emotiva on this. It's listed as a 'future feature' on their website. They apparently have some idea of how this is all going to work, but I would reach out to the manufacturer first. Find out their target date and what you will need to do for wiring.

I would FULLY expect that you will need external amplification for any Atmos speakers which are in use. I expect that you may be using the other outputs for z2, etc. to accomplish this. Make sure you can do 7.2.4 with their Atmos as well.
