My bro-in-law gave me a couple of these. A dang good IPA!!!

edit: odd, but it won't seem to let me post the link to the "oak aged" version. I didn't even realize that is what he gave me until I just double checked. Well, the normal Jai Alai is awesome, and I'm not sure if I've tried the oak aged version. We can't get these in my neck of the woods, so this was a generous gift indeed!

Heck yes!!!

Sculpin has to be in my top 5 beers of all time!

Of course, I am a hop-head. Sculpin is not for the faint of heart / taste buds. It will make your jaws clench!

You do not stand alone with that opinion!!! Also, the Heady Topper that was mentioned is another fine IPA.

That is a mighty fine IPA! No doubt that it is in my top 3 IPAs, and IPAs are my favorite style!

On a similar topic: Also in my top 3 IPA is the Austin Beerworks Fire Eagle. They just took home a silver medal for Fire Eagle at GABF!!! That tells me that my tastes on IPAs are in line with the judges at GABF!

I'm kind of surprised that it's rated "only" 86 at BA.

Best 3 IPAs I've had
The Mayor
Founder's Centennial
Stone Enjoy By

I ended up drinking Pina Colada's last night. It combines 3 of my favorite things. Coconut pineapple and rum.

I forgot about the Stone "Enjoy By", another good one, and obviously tough to find. They also have a GoTo IPA that is worth a try, I had it on tap in DC, but never seen it in TX :(

I have not tried the Mayor, now I'll have to try to find it!

Founders Centennial....it's pretty good, I just don't see that it's worth putting on my personal list of the best.

Since you are in the DFW area, look out for the Deep Ellum IPA. It's pretty tasty and it is more similar than different as compared to Fire Eagle (though FE is better). And, I just picked up a 4-pack of Deep Ellum Dream Crusher Double IPA. It is pretty tasty too, but I think I prefer the DE IPA.
