Here are a few video clips, solely to point out how unprofessional the News is.
Rothman: MSNBC’s Most Embarrassing Mockery of Romney’s Russia Warnings | Mediaite
The media should be practicing investigative journalism, not picking sides.
Hopefully this is my last comment on the subject of the impartiality or lack thereof the press. All of them have a bone to pick, left, right ... it doesn't matter and I try not to get pissed about it because it's all shite, as the Brit's say. I doubt whether the people at Faux News or MSN-BS are worried about what little 'ol me thinks. It's all about the ratings & grandstanding.
A pox on both their houses!!!
I still don't think the events in Ukraine make Romney a prescient sage. Calling Russia the “number one geopolitical foe” of America is - to me - still a bit over the top. Their actions in the Crimea - while unacceptable - weren't meant to be, nor are they as a consequence, a challenge to US power and influence. It's only a challenge
if we decide to make it one. My impression, at the moment, is that it was mainly for domestic purposes - to bolster Putin's flagging popularity and try to circumvent closer ties between Ukraine and the west. If the US and her allies completely ignored what is going on in the region, there would be no real negative consequences - unless you are Ukrainian, of course. Russia isn't trying to expand her influence, she is trying to
maintain the influence she has. And, if she needs to steal neighbouring territory to do it, well...so be it. Any action on the part of the US and her allies to counter Russia's actions are purely - as I see it - moral in nature. We aren't losing any territory or markets to Russia.
I would suggest that the number one foe of America and the west would be China, with assorted middle-eastern loonies and North Korea following closely behind.
Here's another take on events:

We can kick up a stink about what Russia is doing, but we, i.e. NATO, aren't exactly innocent in such matters.
