I liked what they did to the sound when I had the Dayton BR-1s in here but once the EC came through the wall my placement options became more limited. Eventually I was more or less storing them on the walls and using them as shelves. I think the MB-27s behave better off axis and benefit less from attenuating reflected sound.
The panels needed a bigger room. If the fabric doesn't work in your space it's easy enough to swap out or cover up. I'm just glad that somebody wanted them. It was also nice that I didn't have to haul them anywhere.
