I'm enjoying one of the most noble of brews, a Brooklyn Brewery Black Chocolate Stout. It's dark enough to use for paint, with notes of roasted nuts and unsweetened cocoa and strong enough (10%) to be vaporous. It's one of my favorite winter treats.

That a nice one.
Way back when there weren't many good stouts around; that's the beer I gave up Guinness for.
I can't believe 20+ years went that fast.

Because paint tastes so good. ;) Seriously that sounds great.

Just tapped a new keg- the Odell's Porter lasted forever! (Ok, seemed like it) Bonfire (Eagle, CO.) Firestarter IPA .
If I'm lucky, it'll make it through the weekend :D
Cheers, Mac

Specs has bottled Whisky Warmer right now, not much left.
I got two of them, but missed the Founders KBS run. My beer guy Doug was saying they used wetter wood this time so they are better than last years. Of course with the CM growler station I find it hard to get to the bottles. I have so much beer now my wife is complaining. Come Jan 1 it's back to liquor mostly until I get some weight off.

Oh...I think you are beyond my beer knowledge now. I just saw it, grabbed a case and headed for the door. Some chunky guy with Tats chased me down and told me I should try some special Brooklyn stout and I said "sure"...went to check out and it was $25/bottle, I left it there....

Right now it's a Resurrection Ale (not a religious beer), produced by a local restaurant/brewpub called The Brewer's Art. It's available in cans in a few local stores, excellent decanted into a glass. A medium brown, moderately hoppy, malty ale with 7% alcohol; Resurrection is quite easy to drink.
