Funny, I did the same thing when Black Ops was released (earlier in the year or maybe last year, don't remember). Outside of the cost, the Champagne yeast was the thing that made me on the fence with it.

I paid $25 for a bottle of Founders Bolt Cutter (15yr anniversary) last year that's currently aging in my basement. After buying that, I told myself I have to start being choosey with the expensive stuff, it's too easy to spend way too much money.

FINALLY! my local liquor store now carries Oscars Ten Fidy! I also picked up the Yeti Oatmeal Stout. I'm having the Yeti now. It's not too bad, but the Founders stouts are better, imho.

I've heard good things about the Great Divide Yeti brews. Unfortunately I don't think I can get it in Michigan. Want to try the Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti.

Forgot to post this. I had a 3 Floyds Robert the Bruce with lunch. I liked it much better than the Oskar Blues.

A bold Scottish ale with a complex malty body derived from roasted and crystal malts balanced with just the right combination of hops. This ale pours a deep ruby color, has a sweet malty nose with layered caramel and roasted notes and a full body. Robust yet smooth, Robert The Bruce is a malt lover’s delight

I can't find Lagunitas around here. It must be a west coast thing. I've heard it's very good though.

LOL.....Dude, I am not paying for anything from here until Jan 8th. They are going to see an expense report that will shock them.

Since they have chosen to tell us of the closure a day before it happens, I have chosen to spend as much of their money as humanly possible....
