Yamaha rx v781 , need advice on speakers

So I took my pictures and measurements last night and was eager to sign in today to share the info. What greated me was one of the most ill-mannered, condescending and belittling comments I've read in a while.

Since you're reading comprehension skills seem to be subpar Mr BS, let me point out a couple of things.

1. " I think the subject of the post is a bit misleading " - 'Yamaha rx v781 , need advice on speakers'
My original question - "Will these speakers [Fluance XL7F] be a good match with the rx v781 ? Thank you"
I CLEARLY did not ask what kind of speakers I should get. I asked if the chosen speakers were compatible with the receiver.

2. "you're clearly not interested in anyone's advice,"
I did not ask for advice, I asked a TECHNICAL question.
"but a pat on the back and confirmation of your own choice."
...? I came to ask a technical question regarding ohms, and this is your response. Are you dumb? Or is it that you get off on stroking your ego because you're more knowledgable in home audio than most? Do you really consider it such an achievement that you think you're better than other people? Laughable.

3. "I'm not judging you".
Akin to a person saying 'no offence, BUT' - then proceeding to offend. Delusional.

4. "I may be rough around corners"
Wrong. You are just classless, and smug.

5. "I simply don't have time to wring very long posts explaining why Nuance speakers are near borderline white van"
Again, I CLEARLY stated that: a) I know all about the Nuance speakers and b) it was not I that purchased them.
Furthermore, perhaps you don't know everything. The Nuance, in some places, sold for $10,000+. However the music and demos were rigged and sounded better than what they really were. They were extremely marked up, as much as 80 to 90%. That being said, these speakers are FAR from being white van quality. That statement is just asinine. These speakers when new would have easily been worth 7 to 900 hundred per speaker.

6. "Bic F12 is ok budget sub, but not exactly great" - HELLO... I AM on a budget. But hey, thanks for not judging.

7. "Fluance speakers are decent enough, but sadly very inconsistent in quality."
While I am well aware of the issues Fluance is having with the new signature line, I have not read anything that suggests the quality of the XL7F is inconsistent in anyway. Good grief. These speaks have a LIFETIME warranty. Show me that anywhere else. Again, perhaps you do not know everything.

8. "If you want to have a smidgen of quality". - What can I even say to this? Lol. I guess I'll just say the obvious. You are a Prick.
I AM ON A BUDGET. And my new Fluance XL7F towers are not only GORGEOUS, but they sound AMAZING FOR THE PRICE I PAID. (Will caps help you to comprehend?)

I can't believe I've wasted this much time on you. " your quest for our approval ". Lol. If and when I ever seek approval, it will be from people I care about, not some asshole on the Internet. Congratulations on being such a smug prick that you've actually succeeded in running me off.

Rojo, thank you for the McDonald's illustration, however, my neighbour down the street (whom I visit often) has a $9k Klipsch set up that I often am able to listen to. In fact I babysat her animals for a week and I had full access. No one is more aware of my budget restraints than I. I was not expecting much from the Bic, but it proved to be sufficient for me at that price point. I had every intention of connecting the Nuance, but they weigh almost as much as I do and I was running out of patience. Fluance was my original plan and I had to spend my budget before some other matter came up where I risked the chance of not having the money at all.

Thank you to everyone who took time to help me, it is appreciated.

Mr BS, Gods gift to home audio, Have fun stroking your ego and whatever else you stroke, because I doubt you have a woman.

I won't be back.

I didn't called you names, I wasn't desrectful to you. I wasn't trying to humiliate you in any way.
Only ego stroking was on your part.

If your previous posts which completely disregarded any AH provided advice were not clear enough to show your disrespect, now you're really shown us your true face.

Don't let the door hit you on way out.

p.s: We are near 10 years happily married and have, soon to be, two years son.

And that's your Kobe Ribeye? o_O

Zilly, while you may not appreciate the style of every response, there are literally centuries of combined experience and knowledge between just a handful of members here that I hope you don't disregard.

You asked, "Will these speakers be a good match with the rx v781 ?".
If your question was meant to be technical, as in "Will they work?", the answer is yes.
If your question was meant to mean, "Will they sound good", the answer is quite different and what we tried to explore.

Before I retired, I didn't "like" every engineer or exec I worked with. But every one had different experiences and knowledge that was sometimes helpful. I eventually learned that discounting the input from people I didn't like only resulted in a disservice to myself. I hope you are as fortunate as I.

BTW: Your friend's Klipsch system is not the gold standard at that price.
