Would wiring 4 super tweeters per speaker box increase life of tweeters?

Domic, it is very bold of you to post pics of those speakers here, I commend you for that. Those speakers don't look like traditional high-fidelity speakers, in fact they look just ever-so-slightly ghetto, but if they make you happy, nothing else matters. I salute you sir!

As far as refoaming the one woofer, I read somewhere that a bicycle inner tube, if cut right, will work great as a surround. and since it's rubber it'll outlast your supertweeters probably. Just make sure you use an environmentally conscious adhesive to put it on. You know, lessen your carbon footprint a little more.
In any other thread combining the words bicycle inner tube and woofer repair would make no sense. When I read your recommendation, I felt myself nodding my head in agreement. "Of course an inner tube would work". I wouldnt rule out staples either. Or butterfly bandaids. This is restoration of high quality audio. We shouldnt jump to conclusions.

As a handler of many many bicycle inner tubes.....I think it'd have to be the right diameter to work well and there are some small wheel sizes around the 12 inch size for bikes, tractors, etc....but I'd still pop for a refoam kit with the proper glue.

I have to agree with Shady. It took some balls to post those. I think I might even be starting to like the guy. Maybe if he hangs out something will rub off on him. Who knows?

The kid's got moxie no doubt. Maybe if he hangs out enough he might design a proper box for his woofers with some appropriate drivers and a good crossover design....either that or its a bit of Canuck humor?

Seriously, I have no life.
Thanks but which ever i use, rubber bike tube or surround foam, does the glue hold for years or will the bass shake them loose eventually? (would not even think to staple them to woofer-IM joking).
Special speaker glue is available. It is called speaker glue and is for this purpose. You must remove all the old glue by denaturing it and scraping it all off.

You need a new surround, dust cap and factory shims to center the voice coil gap in addition to speaker glue.

Well, he'll need enough for the massive excursion of the driver, I imagine a string of Spongebob bandaids surrounding the cone would not only make them look awesome but sound great as well. ;)

Why that sounds down right correct, you sir are in the wrong thread. It's boards, nails, rags, wiring and super tweeters or bust! Please get with the program. o_O

Absolutely, the more SSSSSSsssssssssss the better. I remember when my brother bolted a RatShack Super Tweeter to his speakers back in 1981 and I thought my ears were going to bleed. But they put out the SSSSSSSSSSSsssssssssssssssss big time!!
