Would it help my sub to put denim insulation in my enclosure?

So I have my 18" subwoofer in a 7ft3 ported enclosure tuned @ 20hz.... there is no poly fill or anything in the box. Would it help the sound noticeably to put denim insulation in the box or should I leave it as is?

Would you please read more about speaker design and acoustics? There's a ton of info out there and we have already pointed you to several sources.
