You like the 10” woofer on the Sourcepoint-10 bookshelf? 10” = 78.5 square-inch.

RBH 831 bookshelf and In-wall speakers have 5” tweeter + 3 x 8” woofers = 150.7 square-inch woofers.

RBH 821 bookshelf and in-wall speakers hasve 5” tweeter + 2 x 8” woofers = 100.5 square-inch surface area.

Other speakers also have big dynamics BOTH tweeter and woofer.
That is crazy expensive.

Yes. I think @shadyJ would have experience it for sure. I be surprised if he did not.
I have heard Planar tweeters in MTM configurations. It can work if executed correctly, as with so many other design types. RBH does this very well with AMT tweeters.

How do they stack up against KEF speakers. Specially when it comes to depth of field.

is Sourcepoint paper woofer somehow ultra high end paper? Seems cheap speakers use paper also as do expensive subs like rythmic.
Wow bet there pricey but endgame! Who knows current prices.

I haven't done a back-to-back comparison, so I couldn't say. The RBH speakers will likely have a wider dynamic range though.

Paper can be an excellent driver material. While it is not the stiffest stuff out there, it doesn't have as fierce breakup modes as most other materials. And keep in mind that the 'paper' used in loudspeaker cones is not much like paper you are used to in magazines and books; it is a much tougher material which is usually treated with resins or other fibrous materials.

I think it has to do with the driver placement like with their higher end towers where they have drivers ti the side and above and below the tweeter. That helps with depth of field. I only got to experience it once in a 2ch setup and it was decent. But also crazy expensive.

Do they have similar driver layout for lower end models. Will have to check.

Just don’t pay retail. :D
What would the SV-831R cost.

If I be getting 831 that will the one. Not getting Regular M-T-M-M speaker. I want that M-MT-M layout. That is what I heard and possibly due to its driver layout it got that depth of field that I am looking for.
