Personally, in addition to preferring bigger drivers and cabinets, I would never buy any speakers with cheaper materials like paper cones (MoFi) or polypropylene. I am sure they are fine (especially to designers and engineers), but personally I would stick to silk, aluminum, titanium, and carbon fiber.
I am not a speaker engineer or designer, so no way I would spend thousands of dollars on speakers made with “CHEAP PAPER”.
In general, I think most of us casual home audiophiles FEEL LIKE wanting “Diamond” or “Beryllium” or just the usual Silk, Aluminum, Titanium, and Carbon Fiber, not “paper” or “plastic”.
